We’re excited to welcome you through our doors! To make sure that things go as smoothly as possible during your initial visit, we ask that you spend a little time reviewing some of the information listed below. Of course, let us know if you have any other questions; we know that visiting a dental office for the first time might not be easy, so we aim to make things as seamless as possible!
Your First Visit
We firmly believe that quality dental care cannot be rushed. You can expect your first visit with us to take about two hours, and you’ll spend a lot of this time with our hygiene team. They’ll work diligently to analyze the details of your smile, which includes radiographs, periodontal charting, and taking numerous pictures with our Mouthwatch intraoral camera. We’ll likely take extra-oral photos too in an effort to be as thorough as possible. This may seem like a hefty time investment, but all this information is integral to helping keep your smile healthy and bright. Of course, our hygienists will also spend time cleaning the ins and outs of your smile; this supplements the hard work you do at home with your toothbrush.
Following your time with the hygiene team, you’ll chat with Dr. Perry or Dr. De Bonis. You’re more than just a name on a clipboard to them – you’re a patient with hopes and dreams for your smile, and they’re ready to help you reach them! They’ll carefully listen to your smile goals and walk you through any initial concerns they have before recommending different avenues of treatment. By the end of the visit, we’ll all have a very clear idea of how your smile is doing, as well as the positive direction it’s heading in!

Dental Insurance
Our practice is fee-for-service, and we will take an assignment of benefits if your provider allows it. If you have any questions at all about your dental insurance coverage or how you might be able to use it in our Ponte Vedra Beach dental office, you are welcome to call us.
